Our bold sculpture jewelry suits the person who appreciate original craftsmanship and \u201chand made in Italy\u201d. Our aim is to create unique, elegant and eco-friendly jewels.<\/p>\n

Armed with a Fine Arts degree, an aptitude for sculpture and a diploma in goldsmithery, Italian Elisa Tummillo opened her own studio in Matera, Italy, in 2006. Johanna Curti, originally from Sweden and a qualified gemologist, had moved to Matera after 10 years\u2019 experience with some of London\u2019s more exclusive jewellers. Their pebble shape reminds you of the \u201csassi\u201d of Matera and they are symbolic of the place where we live. The SASSI are the spectacular old districts of the city of Matera. The word actually means stones, rock or pebbles. We both live in the Sassi, and from these inspirational surroundings comes this exclusive collection: the Sassi dei Sassi, stones from stones. This collection suits everyone; it is elegant but sporty at the same time.<\/p>\n

They are cast in four metals: silver, bronze, copper and aluminium and each piece can be worn alone or you can mix and match various sizes and metals.<\/p>\n

\nWe are using as much as possible recycled copper pipes and wire embellished with natural stones.<\/p>\n

The result is an eco-friendly collection of jewellery that are elegant and original. The models are partly created using the process of lost wax casting and then finished by hand. These pieces are produced in small series and can be found in our shop online.<\/p>\n

This project started with Olly, a unique charm of an olive, born from the meeting with Olio Vu. A true collaboration between our two local realties. The olive is precious, a real gem, the source of the green gold that the company Olio Vu extract with a lot of care.<\/p>\n
